Vi, X . N Day Students 1, K' X 1 Day'dogs this is the familiar name the day students have acfquired for themselves. They are the young men who attend St. lVlartin's only during actual school hours. Transportation is provided by the college bus, ably chauffered by Ed Kennish. The group is the largest number the high school has had for many years, and they have proved themselves to be a vital part of the student life. ln athletics their shining stars have been Keith Goldenberger, Tim Sweeney and Dave Sweeney. All three were on the varsity football team and the mainstays of the golf team. Keith and Tim also were prominent on this year's basketball Eve. The day students placed more than their share on the honor roll during the year-six of their number making the grade. Thomas Shryne especially distinguished himself by consistently heading the honor roll. In school politics. Tim and Dave Sweeney have upheld the prestige of the Uday dogs. Tim being the A.S.B. vice-president, while brother Dave was council representative for the Junior class.
