CHHfIIVHl This year the school did something that hasn't been done for a long time, if ever. The various clubs and organiza- tions of the school with the aid of some of the civic groups of the city sponsored a carnival. There were many booths, some of which were: throwing darts at ballons, penny pitch, duck pond, bingo, fish pond, roulette wheel, throwing baseballs at milk bottles and even a fortune teller. It was very successful, T. zcket Booth The children and town people enjoyed the fun and were happy to help the school by attending. We also had a very suc- cessful raffle which netted considerable income. The proceeds of the raffle and the carnival were used to pay for last year's Lumberjack. thanks to the help of the high-school students who participated in constructing the booths and also working in them.
