The Junior-Senior Prom was held at the Hotel Nicollet, on Easter Monday, April 11. Taking part in the grand march (middle left) ore Colleen Sfeinhauser and Jim Arboiter (front) followed by Carol Lundby, Jim Northenscold, Cecilia Anderson, Lenny Haybeck, Muriel Stowell and Bob Puccio. Swinging into place (lower left) are Anne Marie Rascop, Larry Commers, Jacqueline Sprafka, Bill Hastings, Mary Shimek, and Ronald Wise. Seniors Marge Mosko, Barbara Klingbeil, Mary Lynn Trieschmann, Jean McDonald, and Diane Rosacker take time out for lunch, while, left to right, Sharon Pease, Barb Wolcher, Mary Jo Born, and Terry Bevocco look on from bus windows. (Middle left) Woe betide the green Buds, (alias freshmen), on the fateful day of their initiation, but after it was all over refreshments were enjoyed by both senior Marguerites and freshmen Buds. Bottom left) Business comes before pleasure according to the girls of the 10:45 study period which is held in the dual-purpose cafeteria. Seated in the foreground are Kathy Katcher, Barb Joyce and Verna Agotness. Top center) Diane Markell is 1955 Girl State winner, elected by the Junior Class as the girl best qualified to offend the Minnesota Girls' State at the State Fair Grounds in Juno. I - THE CHARMING PLAY Jk Working hard to moke the class play. Charm School, a success, kept seniors very busy. In a double cast, the leads were Muriel Stowell ond Diane Rosacker. Trying to impress Mr. Bevans (Robert Kaufmann) is Elise (Muriel Stowell'. Listening to the Four Lads Mary Jo Born, Verna Agofness, Nancy Rowles and Terry Bevacco, are Ann McGill, Pat Yentsch, Ann Pope, and Susan Landy, who portrays girls at Charm School. While the girls look on, Miss Hayes (Carolyn Hermann) briefs Mr. Bevans. Preparing for the big moment, with the help of those on make-up are the singers in the play. In the foreground Ann Liemandf mokes up Gloria Hallin and Pat Clausen does some pressing. Listening to words of wisdom from her brother George (John Rimarcik' is Sally Jerry Bevacco'. Curtain call for Grefchen Lienfelder, Kathy Werlich, and Bonnie O'Connor, back stage experts.
