FESTIVITIES FOR CHRISTMAS An approving smile is the reaction of Pat Schupp, senior president, to a poster advertising the Winter Whirl, annual Christmas dance. To commemmorote the years before the coming of Christ, the Advent wreath is an observance in all classes. Lighting the candle is Karen Swan, and saying the prayers are Mary Jo Romaniak, Martha Marrin, and Carol Buirge. Oh, those aching feet! Resting between dances at the Whirl are Margaret Miller, Donna Bernhardt, Corole Hofmann, and their escorts. Dancing to the dreamy music of the Velvefones ore seniors, juniors, and sophomores at the Christmas dance. Under the direction of Sister St. Cecelia, the SMA glee club, acompanied by Judy Stanley, give their annual Christmas program at the Rodisson Hotel. Portraying the Nativity scene at the Christmas assembly are Ruth Trepanier as Mary, Diane Rosacker as St. Joseph, and Justine Robb, Sonia Daleki, and Mary Jeanne Olsen os shepherds.

IN STEP WITH STYLE Very up to date—senior Judy Miller, junior Sharon McNulty, and sophomore, Janice Kalitowski, are three modeling in the Dayton sponsored style show under the direction of Carole Sullivan, senior. Proud Winners. First and second prize winners of the SMA junior Contact formal contest are Zoe Ann Lillie, second prize, and Kathy Ziehwein, first prize. Zoe Ann was also second prize winner in the All-City Contact contest. I'm nervous is used to good advantage. The Four Lads of SMA, Verna Agotness, Mary Jo Born, Nancy Rowles, and Teresa Bevacco provide the lighter entertoinment during the style show, sponsored by the Tommy Shop, under the direction of Muriel Stowell, senior. Smiling models are from left to right (first row): Karen Swan and Susan Meloche (second row): Charlene Meuers, Muriel Stowell and Gloria Hallin, (back row): Sharon Thompson, Barbara Grupa, Milone Trudeau, Anne Gleason, and Kathleen Keenan.

I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I FUN FOR THE MISSIONS Stepping up for balloons ore Sherry Gondek, Barbara Zowislak, Katherine Kuhlmonn, Mary Jean Skaja, and Mary Ann Oeffling at the Mission Mardi Gras, Monday, February 21. Taking time out for food in the Westerner, cafe sponsored by the freshmen, are these contributors to the mission project. Wotch this one! says Susan Meloche while Barb Martin, Carol Carline, Pat Craig, Kathleon Ncary, Judy Lever, Mary Jean Halverson, Marilyn Feeser, and Cecolia Anderson criticize her skill with a bean bag. Go, Go, Go is the theme for the senior Lindy contest in which Carole Hofmann and Donna Bernhardt, Judy Miller and Marilyn Kalitowski, Irene Roney and Janice Hardey, Marilee Kell and Barb Martin, are participants. And away they go! Juniors Anne Gleoson, Borb Madison, Martha Marrin, and Julie Ketcham competo against the sophomores with a lively Schottische, in the folk dance contest, traditional at the Mardi Gras. How much am I bid? yells Mary Brewster ot the auction of a puppy, donated by the 9:15 senior religion class. Holding the puppy is Barbara Scheurer.
