For Home and Office Homemaking and clothing closses develop domestic artistry. Below, potential homemakers—Audrey Galas, Dolores Eckes, and Helen Carlson—examine miniature rooms planned and budgeted for a unit in interior decorating. Minds over Matter The War Memorial Blcod Bank is the goal of physiologists— Teryll Smith, Ann Wallander, Genevieve Hagberg, Mary Lee Kasper, and Joan Joyce—os they slip owoy from SMA during school hours. Each week small groups from the physiology class make field trips to the Blood Bank where they observe the blood dona'ion routine ond have their blcod tested and typed. In addition to their making according to right reason in art classes, students learn the history and principles of art in their art appreciation course. Lower, left i Gathered around Lorna Demarais, their sophomore accompanist, senior glee club members practice a number for the choral festival held at St. Thomas College on May 3. Above are two scenes from White Queen, Red Queen, SMA's entry in the Catholic High School Ploy Festival held November 24 at Cretin High School. In the lower picture Mary Kummer as Katherine of Aragon listens to Nancy Mollers as Anne Boleyn. The performance received on excellent rating from critic judge.
