Our book symbolizes our life at SMA. It is our life — prayer, study, fun — that we dedicate To Margaret, the valiant woman, hoping that she may bring us, through her prayer and example, to the Wisdom that is Love. Coat of Arms of St. Margaret of Scotland Under the patronage of Saint Margaret, we have spent the year reflected here in word and picture. Within this book we bind memories to remind us that we have been formed in her school of learning and living. The spirit of her school—Pietas, Scientia, Veritas— which she carried into castle and church, we must bear into home and parish. Under the patronage of Saint Margaret, valiant woman of the eleventh century, may we become valiant women of the twentieth century attaining at last to the Wisdom that is Love. Steps to Truth Up the wide stone steps and into the Basilica of St. Mory went 387 Marguerites on September 18. Together with faculty members they offered themselves and their school year to God in the Moss celebroted by Monsignor James M.. Roardon. In his sermon Monsignor urged them to be educated in things that pertain to God. Mission Crusade projects such as helping the Sisters of St. Joseph's mission in Hawaii and providing funds for the Bishop's Relief absorb senior CSMC committee members—Joan McCarthy, Marilyn Schlosser, Gerry Miller, and Kathleen O'Malley. I do in the legal sense is the answer of social problems' student Ruth Schuller, who is being sworn in os o witness by clerk Patricia Leber, before Judge Kathleen Siede and jury member Patricia Nylander. Quite o few complexities of law were simplified when students dramatized courtroom scenes in connection with their unit, Democracy in Action.
