MHC 3‘tS.%7 cu v s i 7 To Saint Margaret, Holy Queen of Scotland in the eleventn century. Patroness of our Academy in the twentieth century. We dedicate our Senior Dayesye of 1952. Our book symbolizes our life at SMA. It is our life — prayer, study, fun — that we dedicate To Margaret, the valiant woman, hoping that she may bring us, through her prayer and example, to the Wisdom that is Love. Coat of Arms of St. Margaret of Scotland Under the patronage of Saint Margaret, we have spent the year reflected here in word and picture. Within this book we bind memories to remind us that we have been formed in her school of learning and living. The spirit of her school—Pietas, Scientia, Veritas— which she carried into castle and church, we must bear into home and parish. Under the patronage of Saint Margaret, valiant woman of the eleventh century, may we become valiant women of the twentieth century attaining at last to the Wisdom that is Love.
