FOREWORD Today as never before, there is a most urgent need that all things be re-fashioned in the truth and power of the Gospel. Pope Pius XII iPapal Bull proclaiming the Holy Year of l95Oi Here is our challenge. lt is a call to arm against the foe of secularism that threatens to destroy the peace of Christ in the Kingdom of Christ. Our basic training here at St. Margaret's Academy prepares us to answer the summons of our leader, Pope Pius Xll, to eFfective militant service. As weapons in the combat we learn to make use of the truth and power of the Gospel. Whence comes this power? As members of the Mystical Body we shall be as strong as the bond of charity which unites us to Christ and to each other through sacramental grace. How shall we discover the truth of the Gospel? If the truth we seek in our classes whether religion or science or art, leads us to a greater knowledge and love of God, then that truth will be power. How can we develop this power?
