CAPPING cEREMoNY 1960 Llthall ih, Kan, ttts y, MO. Six months of hard work rewarding us with our three pointers the St. Luke's Cap. A proud feeling filled our hearts, we had advanced from probies to freshmen and had taken a step up the ladder towards our RN's. The entire assembly joined in singing the processional, Love Divine The Very Rev. Donald R. Woodward Dean, Grace and Holy Trinity Cathedral, led the capping prayer. The Rev. T.A. Simpson, Chaplain, St. Luke's Hospital, presented the capping address to the class. The resentation of caps was performed by Miss Jeanne Stickels, P Director of Nursing and Miss Ruth Schubert, Assoc. Director of Nur sing Education. Miss Mary Teresa Miller, class advisor, presented the class to the audience. Miss Stickels gave the scholarship awards to the two students having the highest scholastic rating for the preclinical period, Eloise Webb and Carol Deckinger. n . This was followed tire assembly sang the St, l..uke's Hym Th en byflhe benediction by Dean Woodward andthe recessional played by Mr. Kelly.
