SENIOR CLASS PROPHECY 1960 The time is May, l970. As we gaze into our crystal ball, we see the amazing class of 1960 coming into view. Let's have roll call to see what each member has accomplished since graduation just ten short years ago. Wanda Riffel Smith and Dale have traded in their Volkswagon for the bus model. They had a problem trying to pile all fifteen kiddies in that little car. Ruth Ann Chester Lierz is still sitting at home knitting little things . Larry is off again, this time on a Carribean Cruise. We found Andie Walton in her shanty by the shores of Gitchie Goomie . She's a professional beach comber and at long last she never has to dress up. Her wardrobe consists of Bermudas, sweatshirts, and sneakers. Dorothy Hartzler is supervisor of the operating room now and she thinks she's found the right man. The only difficulty is, she's afraid to take off his mask. Shirley Oyler is now a happy homemaker and, believe it or not, she has won an award for having the tidiest house in her neighborhood. The only trouble - - her nearest neighbor is five miles away. Margie Daniel Grove and Rick are busy raising their own little sea men. Rick has high ambitions of starting his own Navy. Donna Wilson has a swank apartment at the Waldorf Astoria-- but she never uses the front door. Instead, she uses the fire escape. Oh well, Donna, we all know how hard it is to break a habit. Brenda Clark Resz and Dennis are celebrating their tenth wedding anniversary by sitting at home watch- ing television. They can't afford a baby sitter-- with six sets of twins, they've found it isn't cheaper by the dozen. Margaret Simpson has finally bought that Farrare-- she's thinking about racing it next year. Jess Wood has just announced the completion of her twelfth volume entitled What I Liked Most About Nurses' Training. if ' back home in Montana happily married to a prominent mortician. Needless to say, he does a good cover-up on any of her mistakes. Jane Akin, as ever, is her calm collected self and holds the position of supervisor of the emergency room. If there's no emergency, she creates one. Sharon Smith Moody is head nurse at one of Oklahoma's leading Indian reservations. You can see her and Joe at various teepees, followed by a whole tribe of little redheads. Sandra Drew left on a world cruise shortly after graduation and hasn't been heard from since. Must have been quite a trip. Terry .To Bradshaw has become famous for her endorsements of Whirlpools-- we mean lingerie, not washing machines. Senator Nancy Williams, member of the U. S. Senate, has become famous for filibustering for eight straight days. Quite a feat, and on the telephone too. Blossom Crooks and Maggie have become well-known philanthropists, but instead of giving of their earn1ngs,decided to give of their time. Winter will find them busily shoveling the sidewalks of St. Luke's and, you guessed it-- summer, mowing the grass. Donnealia Faulkner owns a cheese factory in Switzerland, but isn't making the money she had planned on. She eats all the monthly profits. Carolyn Pollard is still taking post graduate surgery courses back East. She still can't get it through her head that the scrub nurses don't scrub the doctors. Harlene Brizgint has been dormitory director at St. Luke's until recently when they found her setting up ladders for the students. Melba Pierce has since replaced her, needless to say the interior decorating is the latest in modern trepds. She does have a problem though, the Orthopods don't approve of the new mattresses-- bamboo ma s. - B 9 w nur Anr spo Ma: hea Bor and Pat a tl We We Thi Lin son Ma Joh Lol Pr: Nax ecc Nai cop Me Ma any Na4 dar Unf of : Ma tho Lir the Ma ed Col thi To Dai B e coi Sh: an cla Be no' Be Ge fo: nig Do dei Ba the M2 ju: Ka ar An be Wi th1
