With the help of returning vets Len Babb, Terry Byrne, John Detrano, George Soloman and Ted Giandana, the boys had a wonderful 14-3 record including victories over Pompton Lakes, Don Bosco, and St. Cecilia's of Englewood. Another factor in the Lucan attack was the coaching efforts of Ange Scafuro who is trying for a third consecutive championship. JOHN DEMBIA

With courtesy and good sportsmanship ever present, the cheerleaders backed the team to a victorious football season and an equally suc- cessful basketball season. Undaunted in spirit and always on hand to lead the fans in rousing cheers they have established a reputation of which they may be proud. This year's squad enthusiastically encouraged the fans to cheer for that ever-present fighting spirit and win- ning team. Pat Wallner, captain of the cheer-N leaders, is sitting pretty after a game.
