As I pass The buIIeTin board I perceive a noTice sTaTing ThaT our girls' baskeTbalI Team would play ST. Aloysius' Academy ThaT aTTernoon. We musT win ThaT nexT game, I ThoughT as I enTered The nexT classroom, Tor Grace Alcock coaches ThaT Team. Soon The chimes pealing TorTh The Angelus Trom The Tower oT The school chapel Tell us noonTime is here. Thus Mary Doyle and I lunch TogeTher aT Ye Olde Belle Shoppe There To exchange news Tid biTs. We pass Jack Ward's Drug STore Trom which he waves a Triendly greeTing. Nicholas Demeduk has recenTIy been appoinTed privaTe secreTary To David GilpaTrick, who is chieT engineer oT WrighT's AeronauTicaI Company. Joseph Kennedy is his TesT piIoT Tor The new planes, Mary eagerly informed me aTTer we were com- TorTabIy seaTed. BeTore we parTed- I Tor The classroom, Mary Tor The clinic-she Told me how amused she was To see liTTle Gene Daley in The TirsT grade. He cerTainly resembles his dad, Eugene, ThaT Tamous phoTographer, Mary said. I am inTormed ThaT Lawyer BeaTrice LaPorTa will address The sTudenTs during Their vocaTionaI guidance period.
