Twenfy-five amafeurs are performing. We have many encounfers wiTh The Villain Algebra. who. afTer being harassed by The Hero, Perseverance, finally succumbs. AThleTic feaTs are performed and our audience, The faculTy members, are very pleased. BuT waiT, The lv1onsTer, Exams approaches. Our Hero again sTeps in and we are saved. The curTain falls leaving behind iT a conTenTed group of fuTure sophomores. The scenery in AcT Two is changed considerably. An aTTracTive and maiesfic sTrucTure replaces The liTTle grey school house. Two scenes in This acT are ouTsTanding namely, The receiving of emblems by our undefeafed, inframural baslceTball Team Spas , and The biological field Trip. There is also paThos in This parT of The drama for our friend and DirecTor, Reverend Fafher Pindar, is called by The AlmighTy Producer To his heavenly reward. The players deparT leaving a saddened audience. A noTe of ioy is re-echoed, however, as The curTain rises in AcT Three because our DirecTor's place is filled by Reverend FaTher Maloney who soon wins The hearTs and confidences of us all. The mosT enTerTaining scenes in This acT are: The dance on a ST. PaTriclc's nighT and The deck seTTing on The S.S. Americana bound for Rye Beach. Here we are greaTly impressed by The fine sporTing spiriT of our friendly PasTor and of The SisTers. The closing curTain brings The Third acT To an end. We hear a greaT applause, encouraging complimenfs, and are proclaimed The lnTelligenTia of The school. WiTh renewed zeal we prepare for The final acT. lT is here. The acTors are now dignified, serious, professional. We ediT Taurus and The Year Book, perform chemical experimenTs, sponsor a formal, make a reTreaT, enjoy class day and Then graduaTe. There are senTimenTs of mingled ioy and sadness. Joy, because we have been successful: sadness, because our drama is ended. We pause To express our sincere Thanks and appreciafion To our generous and lcind Fafher Maloney: To our devoTed SisTers and oTher faculTy members: lasTly, To our beloved parenTs. The curTain closes slowly, buT noT forever. lT will open again on our heavenly sTage for The grand finale, where we shall all be assembled around our leading lady, The Blessed MoTher, who has always been our Guiding STar.
