Clan will Dear Diary, Since all goods things must come to an end, so must this last glorious year of our struggle through Ft. Pierce High School. And so in parting: We, the Senior Class of l948, being of sound mind l?l and steady nerves, do hereby make and declare this to be our last will and testament. In doing so, we withdraw all promises and former wills and bequeath as follows: To our sponsors our thanks and appreciation for the support and friendly understanding of our many provoking problems. To the junior Class we bequeath our ability to be true. To the Sophomore Class we will our ability to have a successful Sophomore-Senior Picnic despite open trucks and rain by the buckets. To the Freshman Rats we leave our title as the most backward and bashful class ever to grad- uate from F.P.H.S. L We separately and individually leave the following members of the junior Class: I, Donald Anderson, do leave. l, jeanne Arnold, to Carol jean Parker do leave my ability to keep my hair blonde all these years by hook or crook. I, Dorothy Ane Austin, will to Louis jacobs my extra pad of i.o.u. blanks. I, joe Baggett, will to anyone my ability to keep quiet at the right time. I, jeanette Bates, to Lawanna Holland leave my love for North Florida-Know what I mean? I, Sam Bennett, being of delapidated state of mind, do hereby leave to Richard Wilson my quiet ways in class and my ability to get along with all my teachers. I, Willie jean Bevis, to all the poor girls who come after me leave my undying love of Physical Ed. I, Euretha Black to Lucille Sumner, my ability to pass Spanish with no knowledge of it whatsoever I, Herb Blum to Doyle Owens, my title as heaviest and stoutest man on the football team. l, Dewey Bourn, to Dale Colean, Leland Curry and Lenox Dobbs, my fun in Chemistry Lab. I, Stanley Bracken to I-loagy Carmicheal, my good looks. I, Bobby Braswell to Bill Schneider, my front seat in Solid Geometry class. I, Shirley jane Breed, to Muriel jones will my accuracy in typing speeds. May she make the wonderful grades I did. I, Edwin Brenner, to anyone who wants it, will my position of the dumbest student in St. Lucie County Hi School. Q We, Caroline Briggs and jeanne Cassens, do hereby leave to Bettie Hutchinson and Margaret Feinsod our happy struggle through F.P.H.S. May they have as much fun and do as little work as we did I, Betty Briscoe, to Andrea Hutchinson leave my ability to stay on peaceful terms with my boy- friend.
