We especially thank the faculty who have been so patient about letting us out of class to work on this book. Our thanks, too, go to the Stooges who in learning the ropes of drawing up an annual have helped us tremendouslyp especially Carl Hantman, who has contributed so much to the art work. This is the end of our labor, and we earnestly hope that through our experiment of using underclass- men the burden of next year's annual will be much lighter on the Annual Staff of '49, We, also, sincerely hope that the annual of '49 will bring to mind as many happy memories of Fort Pierce High as we anticipate ours will, THE ANNUAL STAFF.
