ff Perhaps the most important corollary of the entire athletic system at Saint Louis is that oft-repeated, seldom understood, magic word: Sportsmanship. The victories, the losses, the crowds booming out their disdain will all be forgotten before the passage of many years. The almost frenzied enthusiasm inspired by feats of valor on the gridiron and the diamond will pale into relative insignificance with the progression of Old Man Time. k i' i i' Athletic fortunes will be made and lost, teams will come and go, heroes will be found and developed into superhuman beings. Time will pass. Change will take its
