The Executive Council of the So- dality ofthe Immaculate Conception was the small but important group of Saint Louis men who formed the nucleus of the leadership of the spiritual activities and spiritual life of the school. Many related purposes caused the formation of the Sodality Coun- cit two years ago on Kaleopohaku. The more salient of these were: U to carry out the ideals of the Sodality-personal sanctification and apostolic action of its members, 21 to plan various activities and proi- ects, 39 to work on the follow up of spiritual and non-spiritual activ- ities that affect the Sodality and the whole student body, 41 to evaluate the work of the Sodality and of the Council members. The Sodality Council was also the board of communications first, between the members of the Sodal- ity and the moderators, then, sec- ondly, the means of informing the school of the action proper to the Sodality. 83
