HIGH S HO Oli. ,UlUNQillL ....,-f'X Left to right: Bro, Bernard Rose, Bro, John Perko, Fr, Joseph Priestley, Bro, Richard Britton, Bro, Oliver Aiu. Serving as the policy-making body at St. Louis High School, the High School Council meets once a week in the Principal's Office. Head of the group is Bro. Oliver Aiu, S.M. Other members of the group include: Father Joseph Priestley, S.M., Chaplain, Bro. Richard Britton, S. M., Vice- Principal, Bro. Bernard Rose, S.M., and Bro. John Perlco, S.M. Various topics come for analysis before the council. Usually, special schedules, probation and withdrawal problems, student conduct, etc. form the subject matter of the council meetings. Min- utes of the proceedings are kept. As policies develop, they are recorded and filed-and serve as the bases of school routine here at St. Louis High. ln special instance-when a wide departure from the accepted procedures of the school seems imminent-the problem is referred to the faculty for consultation. The council tries to complement the thinking of the faculty as much as possible. lt is obvious that a school does most for its stu- dents when all members ofthe faculty contribute to the well-being of its students. lO ,.d'f' r 3 Zf rx f' BROTHER OLIVER AIU, S.M.
