Student Government ln its third year, the St. Louis Student Council has sponsored and spearheaded numerous proi- ects. The co-sponsoring of the orientation assem- bly, the preparation for Dr. Thomas A. Dooley's appearance here, the participation in the State- hood celebration, the sponsorship of the Food Basket Drive tor the less fortunate with the Sodality's help are numbered among its accom- plishments. With the completion of these tasks, the Stu- dent Council has fulfilled its five-fold purpose: lj to promote the temporal and spiritual welfare of the entire student body as the foundation of a Christian gentleman, 22 to stimulate and coordi- nate student participation in school and civic activities, 37 to develop sound Christian leader- ship and responsibility, 42 to foster interschool relations, and 51 to develop harmonious faculty- student relations.
