These are the Industrial Arts students, With the motto, Guid- ance, Safety, Experience, these students learn practical skills in the proper handling of tools, and in woodwork. Amid the pungent odor of fresh sawdust and machine oil, they develop workmanship and habits of careful planning. Between sawing and sanding, the boys also tackle theoretical problems, such as careful discrimination in the selection and use of wood. From the cultural stand- point, the designing of new projects serves as an out- let for creative genius. Upon graduation these Industrial Art students will take their places in society as Handymen of America. Observant students of ll-G. Here's how, Eugene.
