HAIL TO OUR COLORS AND FLAG. In June, 1953, the receipt of Special Order 340 from Headquarters, United States Army, Pacific, confirmed the establishment of an unprecedented record of excellence by the ROTC cadets of this regiment. For the third consecutive year, the unit had won the Army's coveted Honor ROTC Unit award, which is presented annually to units which maintain the highest degree of military training and discipline. Now in its seventh year, the ROTC courses have become an integral part of the school's program to produce Christian gentlemen and better citizens, as well as men ready and trained to don the uniform of their country at any moment.
