With Coach Roy Martin and Brother Clarence Chew sup- plying the dos and don'ts, the Jayvee team is once again marring the baseball diamond. Packed with ability, hope, and spirit, the team is well on its way to a successful year. The art of hard slugging, speedy galloping, accurate catching, and sly stealing is proving advantageous to the Junior Babes, as they do battle with their many opponents. To develop these necessary qualities of good baseball-men, these home- run seekers, mostly Freshmen and Sophomores, are giving up precious time for hard practice and sound advice from their coaches. Though little applauded, these boys are doing their best to bring fame and glory to St. Louis and they rightly deserve the praise for work well done. .n l mg' KN-N Q.
