0 Os O Ending the grueling season in the fifth berth, the SLC football iay-vees came through with fairly good results. The tally sheet showed four wins and the same number of losses as the iuniors bested Kaimuki, Roosevelt, Farrington, and Mary- knoll and gave way to lolani, Kamehameha, McKinley, and Punahou. In order that the Crusaders might maintain the respect given them through years of colorful play, head coach Art Machado with the assistance of George Oda and Dr. Johnson Lau, taught the boys the principles of teamwork, clean sports- manship and skill.
