W WWW 'f Fifteen years ago he took command of the Orchestra and, in this decade and a half of unstinting service, he has continually produced top-notch musical organizations. This year, he was handicapped by a late start. Nevertheless, after arduous practice under his expert direction, the Orchestra is once again a superb, smoothly operating unit. The '5l edition of the musical maestros is composed principally of musically talented students, Several Brothers and alumni members have also been incorporated, presenting a well-rounded orchestra. These musicians sacrificed a large portion of their time and expended a considerable amount of energy in an effort to uphold the honors that were bestowed on them. In the tradition of former brilliant ensembles, they rendered a number of scintillating gems of classical selections, such as the March of the War Priest, Minuet in G, and Largo. A special performance was held at the annual award assembly in June. Finally, at the conclusion of the school year, the group honored the graduates of 'Sl by performing at their commencement exercise.
