With loyal alumni like George Pereira, make-up expert, Charles G. Clement, Iinotypist, John Garcia, cylinder press- man, Henry Gomes, utility pressmanj who generously donate their time and effort, and under the able guidance of Brother Adrian Keoho, S.M,, faculty ad- visor, and with an energetic staff, this indispensable hub of our high school life has been awarded the All-Catholic Award since i935 by the Catholic School Press Association. With its slogan Onward and Upward and with its aims to keep students, alumni, and friends informed of school news, to stimulate thinking of current topics and school problems, and to encourage good Americanism through its timely editorials, the staff has diligently kept their promise to Meet the Dead- line, i

Through these classes future journalists learn the fundamentals of newspaper work. Soon came January and the annual Collegian banquet. The departing stott members were Editor-in-chief Donald Gallagher, Business Manager Ronald Yee, Associate Editor Wallace Goya, and Alumni Editor Donald Yee. Leading the new staff were Andrew Young, Editor-in-chief, Charles Chun and Richard Miyao, Associate Editors, and Ronald Chang, Business Manager, each having a tirm resolution to uphold the high standards of journalism which has so long been associated with the Collegian.
