The Saints then faced Farrington, their toughest foe thus far, Playing with perfect teamwork, and unerring accuracy, the Crusaders subdued the Govs. Kamehameha proved no threat, as they were beaten 49-27. Kaimuki faltered before our superior forces, and Mid-Pacific was swamped by the season's highest score, 72-36. The mighty Saints took the Tigers in stride, taming them, 6l-SO. Within striking distance ofthe champ' ionship, St. Louis had one game left to play. This was the long-awaited lolani tussle.
