We Snap Under the capable guidance ot Brothers Raymond Dotzler and l-laro'd Hammond the Camera Club has blossomed forth into one of the integral organizations on the campus. Early in the scholastic year the upper classmen were organized and weekly courses in advanced photography developing enlarging printing and Copy Over one hundred enthusiastic Fresh- men became acquainted with the tun- damentals of photography during the course of the second semester. Daily a group of eager beavers could be seen treading their way toward the Camera Club headquarters to learn the ABC s of developing and picture taking techniques. A The stage is cleared, there is a gen- eral tune-up in instruments as well as voices, the mike set, the amplifiers checked-THE HUl IS ON. This familiar scene took place on many occasions in school. They per- formed for the big rallies as well as the other school assemblies. During Aloha Week, the HUI was best remembered for their special pro- gram. The members of the Hawaiian club presented an authentic Hawaiian pageantry with all its trimmings, ln- cluded in this scenic spectacle were contests, Samoan knife twirling, and other Hawaiian arts. Brother Joseph Hoffman, advisor, and Charles Oyama, president, direct- ed the activities of the Hui O' Hawaii Serenaders, Kamehameha and his warriors visit S.L.C. campus.
