V. Rector, VERY REVEREND JOHN GAGNEPAIN, c.M. me Father Wilson completed his thirteenth year as a member of the faculty of Prep South, his fourth as vice-rector. Father's presence is felt in many, varied ways. From English courses to Head Librar- ian, from Faculty Moderator of the Bowling League to the moderator of the Yearbook, Father has given himself faithfully to the students at Prep South. But most importantly, the staff of the 1976 Blackhawk Yearbook wishes to thank Fr. Wilson for his photo- graphic talents, without which this book could not have been published. The completion of the 1976 school year marked the conclusion of Father Gagnepain's fourteenth year as a faculty member, as well as his sixth ' year as rector of Prep South. Whether in the classroom, at ball games, or while on the Altar of God, Fr. Gagnepain has been an example of a key virtue which is most important here at Prep South: dedication. In the classroom, he submits himself to the same grueling schedule which the students must and in this way is able to commun- icate as a fellow learner. At sporting events, Fr. Gagnepain is the epitome of a dedicated sportsfan being a strong believer in sportsmanship. But most importantly, Fr. Gagnepain is dedicated as a Christian, a Catholic, a priest of God.
