Along with these specialties, the new store provided jobs for many Park High students. Right: A new twist was added to the old ’’get rich quick” idea: the Pyramid Game lured many people into a scheme to rake in unlimited amounts of money from a small initial investment The object was to get many people to join the pyramid, thus causing the original investors to increase their money. Too often, however. the pyramid would die out and the founders would take the investments and run.
