M a spirited oriole team came back after excelsior had scored the first touchdown to win 35-6. the 15-game winning streak of minnehaha academy was snapped by the orioles. being ahead only 7-0. the park team blocked a fighting drive by minnehaha academy. and made another touchdown to win the game. a high powerful blake team visited park and defeated the orioles 18-6 to make up for their defeat last year atlthe oriole field. park made the opening touchdown in our homecoming game with wayzata, but wayzata came ba :k with their xyz play and led at the half 7-6. the orioles halted another troian threat to come through with the winning points by a 63-yard drive. iust to be safe the orioles added another touchdown to make the score 19-7. in the final game. park traveled to mound. where they needed a win to tie for the championship. park took an early lead by using all running plays and smashing through center to score 7-0. a 25-yard pass secured another touchdown in the second quarter. mound used a trick play to bring them their only score. the park-mound game was said to be the best of the season. the orioles added to their score, making it 21-7. the orioles collected the last two points when a mound passer went behind the end line for a safety. park finished as co-champions for the second consecutive year.
