Their motive is not only to promote girls' athletics, but also to create throughout the school a spirit of loyalty and sportsmanship. The association sponsored several social functions during the past year. One of the most important to the girls was the annual Mother-Daughter Banquet held in November. This was a grand success. The annual G. A. A. gym party, given for all the girls of the high school, was held in February. The Seniors were the high scorers for the games and therefore received the cup for the fourth consecutive year. Last, but not least, the girls sponsored all the activities such as girls’ basketball, volleyball, track, and soccer. Many went out for each sport and the teams were well organized. Ttcentv-nine
