Well, lt's over Another year down, and like most years, lt had lt's Joys and lt's sorrows And now we're left with the memories That's what thls book ls about The memorles Causlng you to remember ls our reason for exlsitlng So we've trled to put thls year together as best we could, recall Ing the slghts seen and the words spoken We could not capture everything or every person's experience, but that's not really our goal As we said before, our goal is to cause you to remember Even uf your plcture's pages reflect were part of your year Seasons is the theme of this book Maybe because seasons are one of the ways we have of marklng time Or maybe because seasons are thlngs that we go thru, one following another, wlthout REALLY being aware of the change and the growth that the passmg of tume has caused Often lt ls only In the looking back that we see that growth We hope this book can help you see that We hope, too, that one day you stop and reflect that where you are ls a result of what you have done that you are the sum total of all the seasons that you have passed through and that you are the beglnnlng of seasons yet to come Peace Spectre Staff '78 not on every page, you ARE on every page because you were here. Drama stall lives here on campus in the form of the St Louis Drama Club Under the leadership of their President Allison Bergeron, the Drama Club sponsored a very entertaining Variety Show at is year's Harvest Festival even though the number declined the quality did not suffer This year's Intramurals had its usual share of thrills and a good time With Homerooms from the four basketball teams there were plenty of stars to watch Senior teams ended up on top. Then the real fun began. The game between the Senior women and the Faculty women was exciting only to the point that you didn't know what the referees were going to call next or what the teachers were going to do next! tThey DON'T know how to play basketball.l The game between the Senior men and the Faculty men was however a different story. With only 3 seconds left on the clock a controversial shot found its way to the basket and either tal won the game for the Seniors or tbl was ruled not in because of walking. One such club has come about and reigned supreme. This club is the Saint Louis Key Club. By the excellent guidance of Hackberry's own Lloyd Broussard, Jr., outstanding leadership of Gervy Papion, and pure dedication from the rest of the members, the Key Club has been heavily relied upon by all other school organizations. A few of their many outstanding achievements include the beautification of the grounds surrounding St. Louis. Also, many long hours have been put into the collection of money for national organizations such as the Cancer Society I . il-if 'K 5 .
