' Coach Finley, Head Coach 1975- 1976 Basketball at St. Louis was one of many Accomplishments. It produced the first winning season of St. Louis' short historyg 14 wins, 13 losses. The third place finish in district competition was also the highest ever. It just so happened that the two teams that tied for first place ended up as state champion and runner up. To this successful season, the credit goes to the leadership and hard work of all the players. But especially to Wendell, Leonard, Jimmy, Andre, Bob- by, Kevin and Chuck, the Seniors of 75-76. These are the ones who deserve a slap on the back because it never could have happened without them. To the team as a whole, Coach Shaver and I want to say Thanks and at the same time offer to the seniors of 76-77, the challenge to exceed the accomplishments of the Basketball Team of 1975-1976.
