'il Football, 1975 Couste's Messageg 1975 Football The 1975 football team finished the season with a 7-4 overall record. We were 5-1 in district competition. That was enough to put us in a tie for 1st place position. With the luck of a coin fli we earned a s ot at the State P P Title. We were eliminated in the quarter-finals by Kinder, 32 to 34, in an emotion-packed game. The team showed much character and determination from everyone on the squad, especially the Seniors. After the first four games, we found ourselves with a 1 and 3 record. However, the team rose to the occasion and won the last six games, propelling us into the playoffs. I would like to thank all the athletes on this years squad for their effort and dedi- cation to the program.
