A community was formed as weekly meetings were held for sharing and a little looking into how one goes about being Christian. CLC offered an opportunity to grow in an interior way closer to one's self, to others, and to God. The members shared a very succsseful outing at Pecan Grove in February, and are looking forward to more projects and activities next year. 52

Ke Club The Key club enjoyed a year of active par- ticipation from all members. Lake Charles was the location of the annual tri-state convention for Key Clubbers. The St. Louis Key Club played a vital role in the convention by hand- ling the credential department. Key Clubbers at St. Louis attained more honors than any other Key Club at the convention. Pat Yoder received third place in the oratory contest. James Regan also won third place in the impromptu essay contest. Pat Hicks was a finalist in the talent contest. The St. Louis Key Club helped in civic service functions. Key Clubbers collected money for both the Heart Fund, and the Mother' March against Birth Defects. 53
