Mrs k Do you think he ' ll hit the nail this time? He ' s only got two more fingers. Mr. Len LeBlanc Boy, I sure wish I could draw a straight line!! Industrial Arts students were involved in Industrial Appreciation Courses ranging from Commercial Arts to the more manual enviornments. Students began their studies by taking Explora- tory Courses and then in the later years specialization was encouraged in line with a career-oriented curricu- lum. Larry Eagle learned many things--like cutting the shop table. 92

Landry Memorial Library Club The Landry Memorial Library Club en- couraged tlie use of the Landry Library and served the school by improving the library service. The members acted as library assistants by checking books in and out. The members furnished some books for Boys Village. They also attended the L. T.L.A. Convention. The Home Economics Department offered courses that gave the students experience in simple cooking, meal preparation, child development and clothing construction. Actual experiences in the kitchen and at the sewing machines gave practical experience for future life situations. Mrs. Dale LeBlanc Pat was always kept busy. Cathy learned to make her own clothes. Knit one, pearl two, Debra and Vivian kept happy.
