Medical Careers Club Continued Its Third Year. The Medical Careers Club brought together young people in high school who were interested in health careers. It gave these people a chance to share their interests, to explore opportunities and re- quirements in the field, to grow as individuals by working together, and to learn about community life of which they will soon be a part. Mil Alpha Theta The math club seemed to stimulate the interest of our youthful mathematicians at St. Louis. The moderator of the club was Mrs. Dorothy Waldmeier, head of the Matli dept. Elaine AUeman was chosen as President, and James Webb was chosen to be Vice-Pres- ident. The members attended a meeting where Mr. Roberts and Mr. Berniard from Bell Tele- phone gave a presentation of Magic Numbers, They went on field trips and also attended the Engineering openhouse at McNeese. To become a member of Mu Alpha, the student must plan to take four years of college prepatory matli and to maintain a B average in all math courses.
