Debate Club Hosted Its Third Tourney Debate Officers -Thomas Hunter-President Cathy Bodin-Vice President Therese Juneau-Secretary Lise Morin-Treasurer St. Louis debaters worked through a busy schedule this year, attending 20 tournaments from October to April, with some seventy individual and sweepstakes trophies resulting. The squad of thirty also staffed the Third Annual St. Louis Speech Tournament lield in November and the Second An- nual Elementary Tournament in May. Highlights of the year include partici- pation in several regional, district, and state tourneys, among them Bell- aire High Tournment of Houston, the largest high school tournament in the nation, the National Forensic League District Tournament in April, the dis- trict ' s Catholic Qualifying Tourney, and the state ' s Tournament of Cham- pions, held in New Iberia.
