The 1970-71 Landry Library Club of St. Louis High took an interest not only in school affairs, but also in the Louisi- ana Teenage Library Association. At the L.T.L.A. Convention held in Baton Rouge, several members of the club at- tended to help Mary Jo Juneau be elected Vice-President ol the state organization. The club members received many helpful hints on matters ranging from money- raising activities to runniu the library fc n J efficiently. Anita Welili, President - Eugene Carter, V.-P. The first purpose of the Math Club is to promote scholarship in mathematics as an academic subject. The second is to inspire interest in mathematics as a career. The meetings and field trips were designed to meet these purposes. The major activities of the Math Club included plans to attend the state and national conventions, a speaker, and a Irip to the McNeesc Computer Center. Mr. Roy Price from Kohlmeyer Company explained the intricacies of the stock market. In addition to conducting a tour of the McNeesc Computer Center, Dr. Swetharan- yam showed the many jobs thai could be performed h computers. Therese Brendler, Sec.
