As I+ Grew ies. hookeovers and insurance-the busses were straightened out-we were respected by lower classrnen?-we took a peaceful drive to jeff. City-the foot- ball team livened up Kansas City-we gave the hest lttnior Prom ever-we rode ponies to station HHOBOU- Latin parties were the rage-someone was highly irregular -we attended Assemblies and Fortnightlies-we dec- orated with funeral flowers-no tests were given on rainy days-Clarkson gave his first hlast-we wanted to he seniors? Finally the sophistication of our senior year, where-a jaunt to Europe got things rolling-foothall camp was no sweat at all-we were friendly in Milwattkee-Charlie was the friend- liest-we met Barh at the airport in soccer clothes-Mr, Myers found sex metaphors-Bart had a hlast to rival his neighhor's-everyone came in tttxes-we heard Be that as it may. it attgurs well speeches-the Syndi- cate tooli over-Bent hrought the first frishee- meetings were held in the old Corlasco room-somebody eouldn't find his Hilman-an English teacher threatened to start an ivy league store -and a liquor store to finance it-we enjoved the iee on the Senior Pond -Bob enjoyed it the most-skating he- came a new sport-the stag eltth was at its primewpoker took the place of honteworlc-we had a little snow storm-we all rode hieycles to school -w e graduated!

There were the days in the glorious old lower sehool. when-Sanders and Eagle Eye Lutz didn't see eye to eye -our lives were at stake on the old busses-Thursday and Saturday ses- sions were lashionable-Steve Mein- berg and Bill Smith had ruinbles-Mr. VVells tried to tell jokes-Mr. Roach eouldn't lind the Q-R volunte- Nelson. Valier. Ravenseroft. and eom- pany were baelilield men-sandwiehes and eraelcers - and - milk w ere still around-we played basketball in the shed-the school band gave eoneerts- w e sang with Mr. HaydenfNlr. Reeves threatened to use the spike-Nlr. Severson went modern-we were gen- tlemen on the symphony busses-and there was no homework. Then on to party time in the middle sehool. w here-Mr. Durl'ee's room became a steam bath-Red and NVhite games turned into lights-we took an educational Chieago trip- we wore blue jeans and tee shirts- Harlem Globetrottersu was shown in ehapel-everyone wore white pants lor the Burroughs game-we had a niaga- zine drive for the new sehool-we gave square dances for Nil.-someone graded the GE papers for hint-and there was never any hot water. Cn to maturity in the upper sehool, where-coats and ties were just a tempest in a teapot -we sold bean-
