Dear Friends, i This book was put together with the intention of being representative of the time spent out here by tl students-whether for a few hours for only classes or for many hours involved in one or more of the many ei tracurricular activities available on this campus. l found the nicest part of lvleramec, as compared to the four year university, to be the chance to become bigger part of activities on and functions of this campus. l have been able to talk to teachers, counselors at school staff personnel, and in doing so, gained some very good friends. If only every student at every collei could be afforded this opportunity . . . A year passes so quickly. . .and as always there are many things I would have liked to do but didn't have ll time . . . and there were people met once and not seen again, or people talked to that would or could ha become friends . . . l'd like to give special thanks to Robert Abbott and Tom Nord who worked the whole year and never seemi to mind the endless hours in the dark room, and to David Schmitt who was always there to help when no one ey was, and to DeLancey Smith without whom this would never have been possible. Smile. l A word to next year's editor-l hope you have such fine photographers and as great a group of people share an office with as I did this year-also, be sure to get started earlier than you think you should-the deadlines are monsters.
