VETS CLUB The Veterans Club's primary concern is to small loans for campus vets whenever their need To finance these needs, the Vets hold various raising activities, including last October's Pork icommonly referred to as a Pig Roastl. Plans for this ing include a blood drive and another Pig Roast. ln tion, they plan to have a raffle in March, with proceeds to go to dental care for the Handicapped Along with money raising events, the Vets club visited another Veteran Association at Jefferson City ani one at Columbia. The officers last fall were President Ted Ellis an Vice-President Lynn Abrams. This spring new officer: took over: President Lynn Abrams, Vice-President Den ny Trantham and Secretary Pat Braudis. The club's membership opened up this year to any student on campus. HGRTICUL TURE This year the Horticulture Club began the area between the Lecture Halls and Science Other activities included decorating the interior of library with plants as well as building a set of special benches for plant propagation.
