The Meramec Community College Choir presentec its annual Christmas Vesper Concert on December 8 1974 to highlight its season of performances. Miss Frances Gillett directed the 60-voice choiil which offered selections from Handel, Mendelssohn, Pitoni, and other more contemporary composers. An in- vocation and a narration of the Christmas story was also presented at the Concert. l The members of the choir also participated in at Pops Concert in October under the direction of Miss Frances Gillett. Besides these two events, the choir appeared at various churches and other functions dur- ing the season.

IAZZ LAB BANDS The Meramec Community College Jazz Lab Bands formed November 7, 1974, in the MCC Theatre. The bands, 40 members strong, presented selections n swing, rock, and Latin jazz.
