I. REGIS THA TION One of the first things a new college student learns about is-registration. ln fact everybody goes through it year after year after year after year . . . and it never seems to get any better. Picking classes was never like this in high school. You talked to your counselor, found out what classes you needed, and you took them. But here you have to fight for a class! There isn't any class that you should need so badly to have to fight for it! There are numbers they give you and numbers you have to remember and lines to wait in and classes that filli up just as you get to the front of the line. You have to go to all the proper stations and in the right order or you'Il waste more time going through the line again. You might see some friends but you don't really have the time to talk to them. All you really want to do is get your classes and go. Just when you think this is an in-. itiation to see if you really want to attend college and you f can't stand it any longer, you come to the end. You'rea free. You've gotten the classes you wanted for something .4 close anywayl and you're done. But for all the trouble, itl seems you should get credits just for getting through registration. After this any class looks like a breeze! 7 ,
