The changes on campus happened at a remarkable rate. Things disap- peared as well as appeared very rap- idly. A pair of lions Cbelowj used to be situated at the entrance of the college. Many students, like this one, found comfort near him while studying for exams. Right: The old boat hogse was used for fish- ing, studying, or just contemplating life. As development continued around the campus, the Administration was look- ing for ways to increase the population of the college. With this in mind, con- struction increased, and housing facili- ties were the main goal. Roderick Hall was built to house the ever increasing number of students.
