Dedication No longer forward nor behind I look in hope or fear, But, grateful, take the good l lind, The best of now and here. John Greenleaf Whittier My Psalm, Stanza 3 The Class of '71 takes great pleasure in dedicating this yearbook to our advisors, Mr. Smith ftopj and Mr. Sweeney fleftj. Through thick and thin they have always been there to encourage and guide us, working toward the goal of a Senior trip to New York. And it ha.sn't always been easy! Remember when we couldn't think of a Prom theme, remember the time the electricity in our concession stand deserted us, remember the catastrophy of our car raffle. But it was worth all of the effort. Remernber the good times, re- member our class trip to Expo in nihth grade, the fun we had at class activities, the greatest Junior Prom ever, and the eventual success of our car raffle. We may not have the largest treasury in the school, but we will long remember our years at SLC. For these memories, we would like to thank Mr. Smith and Mr. Sweeney. W

ax. F 'K-K J Throughout the years Mrs. Eagles has worked long and hard, giving up Those Who Care .5 iss Tripeny, for your concern. Saturdays to drill the Marching Band and spending her spare time sorting, and teaching music to the 80 members of the Concert as to the 100-piece marching unit. The string of first prizes by the Marching Saints and the standing room only at band concerts tribute to her success. We salute you Mrs. Eagles, for caring enough work above and beyond the call of duty. The Yearbook Staff would like to thank Mr. Dawson, our ace phof tographer. At a time of crisis, he freely gave his time and efforts to take much-needed Yearbook pictures. One of the most important contributions that Miss Tripeny has made SLC is her tinancial campaigning and dedicated promotion of the Trip Program that will allow several seniors to take a two-week this Spring. The Class of '71 would also like to express their appre for her help with the Prom Court, her work as advisor to the Council, and the interest she takes in her students. Thank you,
