Annther Hear is , 4 izgmz livery year, come late August, several hundred Vikings eome from near and far, all over Chicagoland, to return to their beloved Valhallan St. l,aurenee. Also. as the ritual goes a few hundred new Vikes tlienniesl hop aboard the Viking ship and weather the year's storms for the first time. That first day of sehool, despite it's traditional eonotations, is really for most people a day to renew old friend- ships severed by the summer break and hopefully one to start friendships that will last forever. But for the people who have not seen the likes of the nine o'eloek hour in three months, they will have to settle with walking the halls half asleep, dreaming of the day they ean eount on one hand the days until Christmas. 4 f Opening Above: The Viking fans are thrown into a will fremy by Coach O'Ncill's inspirations speech.
