The lub's meetings were held on a monthly asis to assure smooth organization. Moderator Br. Jackson and President Mr. Walter Schiesl directed and supervised the meetings. The agenda for most meetings included minutes from the previous meeting, as well as treasury, membership, and usher reports. Following the reports, various forms of entertainment largely depended on the time of the year. At the Father and Son Night, the guest speaker was alumni basketball star Kevin Boyle. Club meeting. uthnrz 92113 Qui The Mother's Club demonstrated how parents take active roles in their son's education. Led by Br. McNamara, the group's moderator, the mothers got a chance to get together to discuss matters of importance as well as just to have a good time. The mothers met at meetings which covered how they could better assist in their son's education to fund raisers. One of the highlights of freshman year is the Freshman Overnighter. At the over- nighter the freshmen spend the night in St. Laurence, get together with their friends, and have a chance to meet and get to know some of their new teachers and Brothers. They also try to meet some new friends that they are about to spend their next four years with. All together, the overnighter was a success and a good time.
