Headed up by Mr. Wozniak, the drive was designed to alleviate the cost of fixing the leakey roof and paving the pot-holed parking lot. It was a confusing process that had most Vikes confused until it all fell together on the day of the run. The first day of school is like the first day returning to sea after being on land oh too long. It is a wonderful day whether we really want to believe it or not. The day all Vikings return from their summers elsewhere, gather together, board the ship of St. Laurence and sail another year together. Of course opening day for some people is the beginning of a year long sentence for some crime you have unknowingly com- mitted. nlramurala untill Qpurlzmanzhip Intramurals were enjoyed as in all years before here at St. Laurence. Everyone must join intramurals for at least one year at St. Laurence. Well, they do not have to but it seems that they do. All enjoy the touch football, soccer, speed ball, volleyball, basketball flunch and eveningsj and softball. The intramural basketball attracts many, as it is divided into the levels of Frosh-Soph and Junior-Senior. All other activities were conducted at lunchtime and this allowed many who could not participate after school to have a chance at an activity. xv in AY' Fav 7' iw .L 1 ,9..?..
