Hikingz 1912123 I ennia The Tennis team went into a rebuilding process. The sport, which had in the past never really been pushed as a major sport in St. Laurence, began to gain new people and attract a larger group of people to it. Amel Mariano led the Viking attack with his consistent play as a Junior on the Varsity squad. Amel was backed up with the steady play of his brother Russel and several other young Viking underclassmen. Mr. Draski and Coach Pivarunis led a well rounded physically fit squad that ac- cepted the challenges of superior op- ponents with the courage of Vikings. This year's track team had a fairly de- cent season, the FroshfSoph team took second place in Catholic League, and the Varsity also performed well.
